Today on the upcoming daily blog, we will be featuring a beauty queen- Hlumelo Frans. Hlumelo is an aspiring model whose roots are dug deep in Queenstown, Eastern Cape.

Hlumelo began her modeling career back in 2009/2010 when she was still doing grade R. The school she attended would host beauty contests. She knew that she wanted to model. That's when her love for modeling was born.

Fast forward to 2020: Hlumelo's love for modelling was rekindled when she entered Mrs Ndlovukazi - The Queen. From the Indlovukadzi content, she walked away with  the Queen Prize & the Public Choice Award. She also holds the Miss Eastern Cape Schools Finalist & Public Choice Award as well as Miss Queenstown First Princess.
However, the journey to success has had stumbling blocks along the way. Hlumelo says that she has found it had so hard to live up to the high standards set for models. Since she is now a public figure & someone whom people may look up to, she's had to start thinking twice before saying or posting something.
For uHlumelo, modeling has become a way for her to 'adress' her personal insecurities. From a young age, Hlumelo had a low self esteem  & modeling gave her a platform to share her story - how she overcame her personal struggles.
Unlike many other people, Hlumelo does not have a role model or someone influential that that she looks up to. Instead, she is inspired by the person she is becoming - someone who stands for what she believes is right! Hlumelo is a Feminist & she encourages love to ALL!
Hlumelo believes for one to be a good model, you must be YOURSELF!  She says this because there are different kinds of beauty so if one can embrace own kind of beauty, the modelling world would be a much better place.

 Today, we will be featuring a foodie. Her name is Ncedisa Peter. Chef Ncedisa is only 24 years old. But she has achieved so much already! ( You'll find out more as you read).
