Anza Flys The Venda Flag High!

Today on our #LegendInTheMaking segment, we will be featuring an aspiring artist, Anza Musandiwa. Anza is not only an artist, he is also a music promoter & a music publicist based in Venda, Tshisahulu.

The music bug bit Anza at a very young age & he knew from his primary school days that his passions lies within the music industry. The 22- year old loves music because of the peace & joy it bring to his life. I guess its true what they say : music is the cheapest & best therapy.

Anza Musandiwa is popular on Facebook for bring a "musicophile" that knows a lot about the music industry. As an artist himself, he has created this platform to share & receive musical knowledge. He has built a following of over 30K in just 2 years.He uses his social media to promote music.

The journey to success has not been a walk in the park for Anza as he has faced a lot of challenges along the way. Anza is from Venda : a place where there is a lack of resources. Anza says that its very rare to find people who make it in the industry.

Anza says that there are people who still get surprised when he tells the he is Muvenda. 

However, Anza & the whole of venda have some really successful & inspirational aristocracy to look up to. People like Makhadzi Muimbi & Mizo Phyll are flying the Venda flag high.

Our #LegendInTheMaking is one of Casper Nyovest's biggest fan! Anza looks up to Casper for inspiration because of how much he has achieved in the music industry. Anza also finds Nyovest very relatable.

Anza, himself, is a huge hip hop fan. But he does not allow that to limit the type of music he listens to. He is a very versatile listener & he'd listen to any song as long as he vibes & connect to the song.
